Rumors have already circulated that Kevin Durant may be traded, but it’s expected that he won’t be the only player on the move.
However, there’s one player the Suns consider untouchable—Devin Booker. Suns owner Mat Ishbia made it clear that Booker will not be traded, emphasizing his importance to the team’s future.
"Never happen," Ishbia said in an interview with ESPN. "It’s silly. Here’s what I’ll tell you: I have Devin Booker in his prime. To win an NBA championship, you need a superstar. You need a great player."
Booker, who was drafted by the Suns in 2015, has spent his entire career with the team. This season, he’s averaging 25.9 points, 6.8 assists, and 4.1 rebounds, solidifying his status as one of the league's top talents.
