Everton manager David Moyes has been awarded the Barclays Premier League Manager of the Month - after only being in charge of the club for little over 40 days.

The Blues boss led the club through an unbeaten month in for February, spanning five games, including the dramatic late draw in the Merseyside Derby.

Moyes returned as Everton manager in January 2025, having previously managed the Toffees for 11-and-a-half years before joining Manchester United in 2013.

It is the 11th time he has won the award, and his first since March 2013.

Everton's month started off with a dominant 4-0 win over Leicester City thanks to two goals from striker Beto.

The Blues' next Premier League assignment was the league leaders Liverpool, in what was the last ever Merseyside Derby at Goodison Park.

A dramatic late equaliser from James Tarkowski snatched a 2-2 draw for Everton, sparking a brawl between the players at full-time.

Everton then beat Crystal Palace away from home with only 13 fit outfield players, thanks to a goal from January loan signing Carlos Alcaraz.

At the end of the month, the Blues continued their unbeaten run with a 2-2 draw against Manchester United before a late diving header from Jake O'Brien secured another draw at Brentford.

Everton face a summer of change, with a transition towards a new sporting leadership team under owners The Friedkin Group, who took over in December 2024.

Former Leeds Chief Executive Angus Kinnear will become the new CEO on 1 June 2025 and Director of Football Kevin Thelwell will depart at the end of his contract.

The biggest change of them all is the club's move to a new stadium at Bramley Moore Dock, saying goodbye to Goodison Park: the place they have called home since 1892.

David Moyes is now joint-third in the all-time list of winners alongside Pep Guardiola.

The good form has continued for Everton, who are now eight games unbeaten in the Premier League.

The Toffees are currently 15th and are now looking up the table after building a 16-point gap between themselves and the relegation zone.

They face West Ham United at Goodison Park on Saturday at 3pm.
