**NASHVILLE –** The Titans have signed veteran safety Xavier Woods.
An eight-year veteran, Woods has played in 123 games in his NFL career, with the Cowboys (2017-2020), Vikings (2021) and Panthers (2022-2024). Woods started 111 of those contests.
Woods started all 17 games last season for Carolina, when he recorded a team-high 119 tackles with three interceptions and six passes defensed.
Woods played 100 percent of Carolina's snaps in 2024, 1,218 snaps in total.
The 5-foot-11, 200-pound Woods started 46 games for the Panthers over the past three seasons after starting 17 games for the Vikings in 2021, a year when he recorded 107 tackles.
Selected by the Cowboys in the sixth-round of the 2017 NFL Draft out of Louisiana Tech, Woods has 13 interceptions in his career.
