Chris Sutton has made his prediction ahead of Tottenham’s visit to Craven Cottage on Sunday and he expects there to be goals.
Tottenham Hotspur are in West London this weekend to partake in what is a difficult match to predict. This is because both Spurs and Fulham have been inconsistent in their form recently, with a mixture of victories and defeats.
Fulham in particular have struggled to build on any short-term successes. Three of their past four Premier League wins have been followed by a loss, most recently to Brighton & Hove Albion due to a 98th-minute penalty scored by João Pedro.
The Cottagers’ struggles have been most prominent when playing on their home turf. They have accumulated two more points on the road compared with Craven Cottage, with +4 and -1 goal differences respectively.
Spurs have two fewer points away from home than at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, but they have played more home matches. With Fulham’s evident problems, Ange Postecoglou’s side might fancy their chances.

Chris Sutton backs Fulham against Tottenham Hotspur
Chris Sutton has taken to BBC Sport to make his prediction for Fulham v Tottenham. While he has doubts over Fulham’s home performances, he is backing them to secure the three points on Sunday.
The main reason for his prediction is due to Tottenham having to play on Thursday night in the Europa League. Spurs have typically performed poorly after a midweek European fixture and Sutton is worried that Tottenham’s 3-1 win over AZ Alkmaar will have taken its toll on them.

He said: “Tottenham have got a few players back from injury but how much will Thursday’s Europa League tie against AZ Alkmaar take out of them?
“Fulham have been very up and down at home, but I really fancy them here.”

Tottenham are looking for a hat-trick of Premier League away wins
Fulham’s home woes are not the only factor to consider when analysing this weekend’s London derby. Tottenham have improved as the visiting team, recording two consecutive league away wins and scoring six goals in the process.
Sutton may be convinced Fulham are going to triumph over Spurs, but recent form suggests this is still anyone’s game.
