On Friday night, the San Antonio Spurs will host the Charlotte Hornets. The Spurs entered the season with distant playoff hopes, but season-ending injuries and illnesses to Victor Wembanyama, Gregg Popovich, and recently, De'Aaron Fox nixed those hopes.
The Hornets, meanwhile, entered the season hoping to continue to develop their young talent and try to be competitive, but they too were bitten by the injury bug. As both teams trudge into the final quarter of the NBA season, they are both hoping for the best lottery odds possible.
Keep it posted to Inside the Spurs for all the latest news, ranging from odds (via FanDuel), injury reports for both teams and TV information.

In their last game, with De'Aaron Fox in the lineup, the Spurs were six-point favorites over the Dallas Mavericks, who are a much better team than the Hornets. The Spurs did end up covering that spread, but the fact that the line has dropped close to even money should be a sign to fans to focus on college basketball and March Madness because a hero from the tournament could be coming to San Antonio shortly.
