Marcus Rashford named in England squad under Thomas Tuchel
Rashford hadn’t played for England since March 2024, when he featured for 15 minutes against Brazil at Wembley. Following this game, he was left on the bench against Belgium, before not making the squad in June or for the European Championships.
Tuchel has always been a fan of Rashford and it was always likely he would call him back to the England squad at the first opportunity.
