Todibo's West Ham career could be cut short as stunning new information comes to light

West Ham United signed French centre-back Jean-Cliar Todibo on loan from Nice in the summer of 2024.

And this summer, West Ham have an obligation to buy Jean-Clair Todibo for around £26 million.

Jean-Clair Todibo struggled at the start of his West Ham career, but he’s starting to come into his own now.

The centre-back quite obviously has the ability to be a huge success in the Premier League.

Todibo admitted earlier this week that he’s delighted to be at West Ham right now, and he seems to be really enjoying his football at the London Stadium.

The 25-year-old is one of the best central defenders in Europe when he’s on top of his game.

His ability with the ball at his feet, composure in possession and terrific range of passing will be crucial to the way that Graham Potter sets up.

Potter is clearly a huge fan of Todibo, and he absolutely raved about the Frenchman last week.

However, there could be a big problem on the horizon for the Hammers head coach.

Jean-Clair Todibo’s West Ham career could be cut short

The former Barcelona man has proven that he has unbelievable quality.

We just need to start seeing him perform more consistently now.

However, there’s a genuine chance that we may never get to see the best of the towering central defender in a Hammers shirt.

That’s because Juventus want to sign the 25-year-old this summer according to Italian publication Zazoom, after they missed out on him seven months ago.

Thiago Motta is said to be desperate to bolster his central defensive ranks during the off-season.

Stunning new Jean-Clair Todibo information comes to light

It is claimed by Zazoom that the Frenchman regrets joining the Hammers last summer.

I’m not sure if I believe the veracity of those claims.

He seems to be more than happy in East London now, and I’d be hugely surprised if he left us in the summer.

That said, if Juventus do make a concrete move to sign Jean-Clair Todibo, it may well be difficult for West Ham to keep hold of him.

Hopefully the club are ambitious enough to prove to Todibo that he can achieve his goals with us.
