Wilson Odobert is expected to be one of just a few players who keep their place when Tottenham travel to Fulham.
Odobert scored his first two goals for Spurs as Ange Postecoglou’s side recorded a 3-1 win over AZ Alkmaar at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Thursday (13 March) to advance to the last eight of the UEFA Europa League.
Despite the win, Postecoglou remains under pressure at Spurs.
Therefore, the Australian will no doubt be keen to pick up three points against Fulham in the Premier League at Craven Cottage on Sunday (16 March).
However, Daniel Levy is likely to judge Postecoglou based on Spurs’ success in the Europa League this season. Therefore, the 59-year-old is expected to make wholesale Tottenham changes against Fulham.

Odobert ‘to keep his place for Tottenham v Fulham’
Postecoglou is likely to axe the majority of Spurs’ first-team stars against Fulham, with most of the players who featured from the start against AZ Alkmaar likely to be rested.
However, Lilywhite Rose owner John Wenham – speaking exclusively to Tottenham News – has backed Odobert to keep his place on Sunday.
“Odobert was one of the outstanding players against AZ Alkmaar,” Wenham said.
“He made a real statement of intent with his performance. A couple of times he picked up the ball and ran directly at defenders, which is something our other wingers don’t seem to do as much.

Odobert has missed most of the season due to injury
“Odobert made a real impact and started to show to fans why the club invested so much money into him in the summer. Therefore, he will be looking to start again against Fulham.
“I think there will be lots of rotations. However, I think Odobert will be one of those who keeps his place as he looks to push on and establish himself at Tottenham.”

Odobert set for a big couple of months at Tottenham
Unfortunately for Odobert, the winger hasn’t been able to make the kind of impact he would have liked in his first season at Tottenham due to injury.
However, his performance against AZ Alkmaar demonstrated that Spurs could have a very talented player on their hands. Therefore, the 20-year-old will be keen to play as much as possible before the end of the season and showcase why Spurs signed him.
