There has been a conversation about Steph Curry and his place in NBA history recently.
Some people feel he is one of the best players to ever suit up in a jersey, and others feel that he isn’t in the top 10, although he is a wildly successful point guard and shooter.
Speaking on “Run It Back” Friday morning, former NBA star Chandler Parsons said Curry is definitely a top-10 player and one of the most beloved stars of all time.
“He’s been top-10. He’s the greatest point guard ever. He’s the greatest shooter ever. He’s a champion. He’s an Olympian,” Parsons said.
Parsons then went on to praise Curry’s personality and impact on the league.
"Steph Curry's been top-10. He's the greatest point guard ever. He's the greatest shooter ever…
Don't even begin to talk about the way he's loved…nobody in the world hates Steph Curry. Do you know how hard that is as a professional athlete?"

He made the point that it’s rare to see an NBA player who is loved by just about everyone.
No matter where he goes and who he plays against, there are fans of Curry ready to cheer him on.
It’s not just because he is a flashy scorer and capable of amazing circus shots that have to be seen to be believed.
The love for Curry is also about the person he is, what he has done for the NBA, how he treats his fans and community, and more.
But when it comes to skills, Parsons feels Curry needs to be in the debate about the best players ever.
This season has had multiple examples of what makes Curry so great.
On Thursday night, for example, he became the first NBA player to earn 4,000 three-pointers in a career.
Meanwhile, his Golden State Warriors have surged back to life, partly because of his hard work and leadership.
Parsons and many others feel that Curry is far more than just a terrific shooter – he’s an all-time great player who will hold a special place in NBA history.
