Patriots Get Rising Offensive Tackle in Latest NFL Mock Draft

The start of the new league year was a success for several teams that went out and filled many of their biggest position needs.

The New England Patriots were among the teams that made one of the biggest runs at the start of free agency by filling several position needs. They made big moves on offense and defense to potentially get them to become playoff contenders.

The Patriots made moves at the offensive line with the signing of offensive tackle Moses Morgan, but more moves must be made to protect second-year quarterback Drake Maye in the pocket. The team is mostly out of salary cap space to make another big move at the unit, so they will look at the 2025 NFL Draft.

New England has a lot of options with the No. 4 pick. In the latest Athlon Sports' 2025 NFL Mock Draft, the Patriots select Missouri offensive tackle Armand Membou.

Through most of the draft process, Membou was behind LSU offensive tackle Will Campbell. A combination of Membou's stellar performance in the 2025 NFL Scouting Combine and Campbell's short arm has NFL coaches, scouts, and managers thinking of Membou as the top offensive lineman.

Membou started a full two years at right tackle with the Tigers. He possesses great body control, athleticism, and quickness to be a fast and sturdy offensive lineman. He is one of the quickest and most athletic offensive linemen within the last several drafts. While his underwhelming size will raise some red flags, they could be quickly lowered by his fast feet and hands.
