How Will Pacers Benefit from Upcoming Schedule?

In today's economy, free goes a long way, regardless of the item. Considering the cost of cutting the cord and balancing a plethora of streaming services, the Indiana Pacers found a way to help their fans with a recent deal. Pacers fans will receive a "free" opportunity for their favorite team's upcoming schedule.

The Pacers play at the Philadelphia 76ers on Friday. Although the game will likely end in a one-sided affair, as the 76ers' injury report is as stacked as the Men's Basketball's Team USA's Paris Olympics roster, more eyes have the opportunity to view it.

Thanks to a deal with WTHR, three of the next four Pacers games will air for free, delighting their fans.

Indiana will play, in addition to Philadelphia, the Milwaukee Bucks and the Dallas Mavericks in the aforementioned span.

Although playing the 76ers and the Mavericks doesn't have the same buzz as Saturday's game vs. the Giannis Antetokounmpo-led Bucks, watching a boring win is likely a better experience than an exciting loss, especially given the team's current race for the fourth seed in the Eastern Conference playoffs.

Indiana is 36-28, trailing Milwaukee for the fourth seed. Milwaukee has the regular-season series lead over Indiana, so a win on Saturday will further influence which team will finish with the final homecourt advantage seed.

In light of the game-winning shot Pacers' Tyrese Haliburton hit over Antetokounmpo on Tuesday, with Indiana finishing 115-114 over Milwaukee, fans viewing on free television should anticipate a heavily-contested game on Saturday.
