Arsenal have sights in highly rated French teenager. As per the latest reports, they are joined by as many as 9 clubs in the race. Out of those, 6 are from Premier League whereas 2 are from Bundesliga and 1 is from La Liga. However, his current club will make it hard for everyone to sign their valuable asset.

The star in question here is French midfielder Ayyoub Bouaddi. He is 17 years old and currently plays for Ligue 1 side Lille. He mainly plays as holding midfielder but can also play as central midfielder. Despite his young age, he has established himself as key player for Lille.

Bouaddi broke into the Lille’s first team last season itself. He played 18 games and was able to pick 1 assist as well. This season, he has levelled up and is now even starting regularly. He has played 32 games this season and registered 2 assists.

Gunners have been linked with Ayyoub Bouaddi since a long-time. It is reported that they have watched the player in action. Now TBR Football have reported that the 17 year old is also looked upon by 9 other clubs. This is enough to showcase the quality of French prodigy.

As per the report, Bouaddi has interest from Chelsea, Liverpool, Man City, Man United, Aston Villa and Brighton as far as England is concerned. Other than that, he is also looked upon by Bayern Munich and RB Leipzig from Germany and Real Madrid from Spain.

Lille are set to lose Jonathan David and Angel Gomes this summer. Both of these players will leave for free. Hence, they are unwilling to lose Bouaddi in the same window. The player will complete 18 years of his age in October 2025 and hence it confirms that he can’t move to England until 2026.
