If the Seattle Seahawks are going to add a difference-making offensive lineman this offseason, we may now know the name.
Free agent guard Teven Jenkins is scheduled to make a visit to Seattle on Monday, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported Friday.
Huard: Keep an eye on Darnold’s center with Vikings as a Seahawks target
The top two interior offensive linemen available in free agency this year, as ranked by NFL.com, are already off the board. Drew Dalman (No. 1) left the Atlanta Falcons for the Chicago Bears, while Will Fries (No. 2) went from the Indianapolis Colts to the Minnesota Vikings.
No. 3 on that list? Jenkins.
The 27-year-old Jenkins checks in at 6 foot 6 and 321 pounds, but injuries are a concern. He missed three games in 2025, and his 14 games last season were still a career high. NFL.com’s profile of him, though, points out that he’s “turned his career around after a slow start in Chicago.”
Jenkins is a player that Seattle Sports’ Brock Huard, a FOX football analyst and former NFL quarterback, has had his eyes on since the start of free agency as a potential Seahawks target. Part of that reason is that Jenkins, even at his size, has the mobility that will be necessary in the scheme led by new Seattle offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak.
“I think the guy that fits is Teven Jenkins,” Huard said Tuesday after Fries came off the board. “Former second-round pick, highly thought of out of Oklahoma State, athletic guy, super strong guy, still got some movement and some quickness which you need in this system.”
In Huard’s eyes, Fries was the No. 1 target at guard. And the Seahawks apparently made a run at him, but they reportedly wanted him to undergo a physical and he instead signed with the Vikings, who didn’t put him through one.
The next man up would then be Jenkins, Huard said.
“From a skillset standpoint, Will Fries was No. 1 and got paid a king’s ransom to go to Minnesota. That’s No. 1, he’s off the board, so you’ve got to pivot,” he said. “I think No. 2 would be Teven Jenkins, and hopefully they can bring that experience, athleticism, size and strength to that left guard position.”
