Portland Trail Blazers forward Jabari Walker is in concussion protocol, Jerami Grant remains out with a knee injury and Deandre Ayton enters his fifth week out with a left calf strain.
Walker suffered a concussion during Wednesday night’s 114-113 overtime loss to the New York Knicks at the Moda Center. He left the game in the fourth quarter and did not return after playing over 11 minutes.
There is no timetable for his return.
“We’ll see how it goes,” Blazers coach Chauncey Billups said following Friday’s practice.
Ayton injured his calf during a loss at Denver on Feb. 12. He was originally scheduled to be reevaluated in four weeks. He has been out for 30 days.
“He’s been good,” Billups said. “He’s been around. Leading and talking and being vocal. Obviously, that’s been great ... He’s not doing much at all. But I did hear that he’s healing pretty good, though.”
The Blazers are 5-8 since losing Ayton.
Grant has been in and out of the lineup with right knee tendinitis. He has missed six of the team’s last eight games, including the last two.
“Jerami didn’t practice today,” Billups said. “Not sure yet on Jerami.”
The Blazers host Toronto at 3 p.m. Sunday.
