**GIANTS SIGN JEREMIAH LEDBETTER AND DEMETRIUS FLANNIGAN-FOWLES…**
The Giants have signed unrestricted free agents DL **Jeremiah Ledbetter** (Jacksonville Jaguars) and ILB **Demetrius Flannigan-Fowles** (cut by the San Francisco 49ers in February). Ledbetter’s contract is reportedly a 1-year, $1.775 million deal. Terms of Flannigan-Fowles’ contract are not yet known.
The 30-year old, 6’3”, 299-pound Ledbetter was originally drafted in the 6th round of the 2017 NFL Draft by the Detroit Lions. He has spent time with the (2017-2018), Tampa Bay Buccaneers (2018-2019, 2019-2021), Baltimore Ravens (2019), Arizona Cardinals (2021), and Jaguars (2021-2024). Ledbetter has played in 53 regular-season games with five starts, accruing 80 tackles, 3.5 sack, one pass defense, and one fumble recovery. His best season was for the Jaguars in 2024, when he played in 15 games with three starts, registering 38 tackles, eight tackles for a loss, and two sacks.
The 28-year old, 6’2”, 223-pound Flannigan-Fowles was signed by the 49ers as an undrafted rookie free agent after the 2019 NFL Draft. In his six years with the 49ers, Flannigan-Fowles played in 73 regular-season games with seven starts, accruing 96 tackles, three pass defenses, and one interception. Most of his playing time has come on special teams.
**PATRICK JOHNSON SIGNS WITH THE PHILADELPHIA EAGLES…**
New York Giants unrestricted free agent OLB **Patrick Johnson** has signed with the Philadelphia Eagles. Terms of the deal are not yet known.
The Giants claimed Johnson off of waivers from the Philadelphia Eagles in September 2024. The Giants placed him on Injured Reserve in December 2024 with a knee injury. He ended up playing in 12 games with no starts with most of his playing time coming on special teams (just 46 defensive snaps). He was credited with four tackles. The 6’2”, 248-pound Johnson was originally drafted in the 7th round of the 2021 NFL Draft by the Eagles.
