Chelsea return to Premier League action this weekend in their final match before the international break.
The Blues will travel to the Emirates Stadium on Sunday to take on Arsenal in the top flight. Chelsea go into the game on the back of a 1-0 win over FC Copenhagen in the Conference League in midweek and will be looking to extend their winning run, which currently stands at four matches.
Moises Caicedo has played a key role in that run of victories for Chelsea, as has been the case for the entire season so far. The Ecuador international has been a regular starter in Enzo Maresca's starting line up, but is still walking a disciplinary tightrope.
Caicedo has nine yellow cards to his name in the Premier League this season after getting booked in the 4-0 win over Southampton last month. The midfielder avoided a caution last week against Leicester, but is still in danger of being handed a ban.
One more booking for Caicedo would see the midfielder handed a two-game suspension in the Premier League for Chelsea. This threshold will remain in place until after the Blues have played 32 top flight matches.
This means that if Caciedo can avoid getting a yellow card across the run of matches against Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur, Brentford and Ipswich Town then he would avoid getting a Premier League ban. The 23-year-old avoided getting a one-match ban after picking up his fifth yellow card after the threshold of 19 matches.
Chelsea are currently in fourth place in the Premier League table and will be aiming to boost their chances of qualifying for the Champions League with victory over Arsenal on Sunday. Caicedo is likely to play a key role in the fixture, but will be hoping to avoid getting a yellow card in the trip to North London.
