After an NFL career that saw him win six Super Bowls as a head coach, Bill Belichick is now attempting to reach the mountain top of the college football ranks.
He was hired as Mack Brown's replacement, and unsurprisingly to anyone who has followed Belichick throughout his career, he is doing things his way. His program is already showing signs of being run similarly to an NFL franchise, and in true Belichick fashion, he has added a handful of lacrosse players to his squad.
However, the latest revelation about the Belichick experience in Chapel Hill is one that not many people could have even fathomed was a possibility. The hard-nosed head coach who doesn't seem to care about anyone's opinions requested that one individual was CC'd on emails he receives.
While some may assume it's one of his two sons on the staff, they'd be incorrect. Instead, it was revealed that the 72-year-old head coach wants his 24-year-old girlfriend Jordon Hudson, on every email he receives.

A development that has fans concerned with the direction of the program under Belichick.
"And Lombardi getting CC'd as well. What a clown show," wrote one user.
"This isn't going to end well," said another.
"He won't last long," suggested one fan.
"Seems to be a lot of loose, moving pieces at UNC," chimed in a fourth.
"This is going to end horribly! Bill was trash in New England for years and to think he's going to go and connect with 18yr olds and help build a program is ridiculous," said one user.
"Love how quickly this has gotten weird," commented another.
While many fans quickly pointed out that the email was regarding social media, The Assembly reporter Matt Hartman later confirmed that Hudson was also attached to emails regarding interview requests.
It may simply just be because Belichick could use another set of eyes on his day-to-day, but fans will certainly be keeping an eye out to see how involved she is with the program.
According to People, the couple met in 2021 when she was in college, and went public about their relationship in 2024.
His first game as head coach is scheduled for Sept. 1 against TCU.
