On Wednesday, the Los Angeles Rams made the tough decision to cut longtime wide receiver Cooper Kupp, who'd been with the team since they took him in the third round of the 2017 NFL Draft.
He leaves Los Angeles having accumulated 634 receptions (third in team history), 7,776 yards (fourth in team history) and 57 touchdowns (third in team history) in just eight years.
Unfortunately for any Rams fan, he signed with the NFC West rival Seattle Seahawks, which is a bit of a homecoming for Kupp after he was born in Yakima, Washington, and playing college football at Eastern Washington.
Quickly after the signing was announced, Kupp celebrated the Seahawks move with a social media post captioned, "Washington back across my chest. Let's go!!!!!"

Despite the animosity between the Rams and Seahawks fanbases, the post has been met with mostly positive reactions showing support.
"Best wishes in Seattle, Coop! Thanks for all the great years with the Rams!" said one comment
"Wish you the best, man. Will always be one of my top 5 favorite Rams," said another.
"Congrats Cooper. Glad you are coming home to continue and hopefully finish your career with the home team! Be well, stay healthy, and lead the hawks back to the SB!" a third added.
A fourth stated, "Best of luck to you!! You will always be a Ram in my book. Vamos #10 Cooper Kupp!!!"
"Congrats Kupp. I wish you the best. Thank you for everything you did for us in the Rams," a fifth continued.
"So stoked for this. Always loved your game!!! Let's get another ring!!!" said another.
Kupp certainly didn't take a hometown discount, though, as he's set to earn $45 million over the next three years, keeping him with the Seahawks, meaning he's not set to become a free agent again until the end of the 2027 season.
