Veteran receiver Noah Brown will be back with the Washington Commanders for another season after agreeing to a one-year deal Thursday, according to multiple reports.
The contract is worth up to $4.5 million.
Brown joined Washington just before the 2024 season after the Houston Texans released him in their final roster cutdown.
The 29-year-old quickly became a favorite target for quarterback Jayden Daniels. He recorded 35 catches for 453 yards before a kidney injury ended his season.
The Ohio State product etched himself into franchise history when he caught a game-winning Hail Mary from Daniels in Week 8 against the Chicago Bears.
The 453 yards and 35 receptions ranked third among Washington’s wide receivers behind Pro Bowler Terry McLaurin and Olamide Zaccheaus, who is a free agent.
The Commanders also agreed to a one-year deal with returning receiver K.J. Osborn on Thursday.
The financial terms of the contract were not immediately available.
Osborn originally joined the Commanders midway through the 2024 campaign after the New England Patriots released him in December. The 27-year-old did not record any statistics in his lone appearance with the Commanders.
The Miami product recorded seven catches for 57 yards and a touchdown in eight games with the Patriots last season.
Osborn provides needed depth for Washington.
The returning Osborn joins Brown, McLaurin, second-year player Luke McCaffrey and the newly acquired Deebo Samuel on Washington’s depth chart.
