It was an exciting back-and-forth matchup between the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Orlando Magic. Head coach Chris Finch should be excited about the late-game performance because Minnesota showcased why they deserve to be a Playoff team with a 118-111 victory.
Heading into the fourth quarter, the Magic had a nine-point lead, but the Timberwolves stepped up yet again to extend the winning streak. Anthony Edwards was once again the star, but the rest of the team performed well.
This was one of the toughest games of the 2024-25 season for the Timberwolves. They had to withstand an onslaught from Orlando's star player, Paolo Banchero, who scored 43 points and grabbed 11 rebounds.
For Minnesota, Anthony Edwards stood out with 28 points, while Julius Randle supported him with a versatile 22 points, seven rebounds, and five assists. It was a close game, so winning it in the fourth quarter.

A Magnificent Fourth Quarter for Minnesota
Since they went behind before the final 12 minutes, Minnesota had an uphill climb. Thankfully, Donte DiVincenzo sparked the comeback with his perimeter shooting and high-energy hustle.
Donte might have had only 14 points, three rebounds, and five assists on the stat sheet, but he was the unsung hero for this game. Jaden McDaniels also deserves some love for his part in the fourth-quarter run.
Defensively, the Timberwolves showed why they are such a tough team to play against. Even without Rudy Gobert on the floor, Minnesota locked in during the fourth quarter to stop Banchero, Franz Wagner, and the rest of the Magic.
It was a mediocre first three quarters, but the Timberwolves still have the momentum and confidence for their winning streak.

The Timberwolves Have the Jazz Next
Minnesota wants to keep extending this winning streak, as they aim for a spot in the Playoffs. The Utah Jazz will be the team visiting Target Center in the Timberwolves' next game scheduled on Sunday night.
It will be an interesting matchup for Minnesota because Utah has not been good this season. However, they can always pull off surprising upsets, especially with Lauri Markkanen as the team's star player.
Coach Chris Finch will be prepared to help his team shine in the next game. Although it was an impressive win against the Magic, there were some areas they could work on, like their struggles during the third quarter.
