Girls basketball state tournament: Pairings are set for four championship games

West Central, MACCRAY upset their way into the 1A title game. Providence Academy and Crosby-Ironton, both unbeaten, reached the 2A final.

Eight teams in Class 2A and 1A play Friday for the opportunity to compete in the state championship.

The Class 1A quarterfinals took place Thursday amid the semifinal round for 4A and 3A.

12 p.m.: West Central 58, Goodhue 50

2 p.m.: MACCRAY 60, Sleepy Eye St. Mary’s 56

Class 2A

6 p.m.: Providence Academy 88, Minnewaska 43

8 p.m.: Crosby-Ironton 85, Minnehaha Academy 72
