According to a report by Spanish outlet Fichajes, Barcelona will have the opportunity to sign Darwin Nunez in the summer transfer window. The 33-cap Uruguayan international will likely leave Liverpool after the 2024/25 season ends, and an adventure in La Liga might be on the cards.

Darwin Nunez has endured a topsy-turvy ride since joining Liverpool from SL Benfica in a deal worth an initial £64 million in July 2022. While the transfer fee can go up to £85 million with add-ons, the South American attacker has not lived up to the billing in the last two and a half years.
The 25-year-old has dropped in the pecking order under Arne Slot, with the Dutch tactician preferring Diogo Jota and Cody Gakpo to him for most of the 2024/25 season.
