LeBron James is currently sidelined with a groin strain, but he still made his way to Sacramento to attend the CIF State Championship game between his son Bryce's Sierra Canyon and Lincoln High of Stockton at Golden 1 Center. It was Bryce's last game in high school, and he walked away a winner, as Sierra Canyon beat Lincoln 58-53 in the final.
James was accompanied for this contest by his wife Savannah and daughter Zhuri. They did not get to witness a Bryce masterclass, though, as the 17-year-old finished with three points (1-9 FG), five rebounds, two assists, and a block. For Lincoln, on the other hand, both Anthony Moore and Donez Lindsey had a game-high 18 points each, but it wasn't enough to get the win. They
Getting back to James, he would be hoping to lift a title himself later this year as Bryce just did. His Lakers were on a roll, too, in recent months, but have struggled since he went down. They have now lost four in a row to drop to 40-25 and would want him back on the court as soon as possible.
