Murray finished with 26 points. Aaron Gordon added 17 points, and Michael Porter Jr. contributed 13 points and 7 rebounds. Russell Westbrook provided a spark off the bench, scoring 17 points, with 7 assists and 6 rebounds. Christian Braun also had a strong game, finishing with 22 points.
The game was back-and-forth, with the Lakers leading 40-32 after the first quarter. However, the Nuggets responded in the second, outscoring the Lakers 39-27 to take a 71-67 halftime lead.
Despite a strong effort from the Lakers, especially in the third quarter, Denver’s late-game execution, including Murray’s timely 3-pointer, helped them secure the win. This victory extended the Nuggets' strong season, while the Lakers’ losing streak continued without their star players.
