Preview, Squad List, Team News: Real Madrid vs. Deportivo Abanca; Liga F

Preview

Real Madrid face Deportivo la Coruña on matchday 22 of Liga F. Las Blancas play the first home game in the league since February 16 when they beat Levante Badalona.

In the first matchup with Depor this season, the white club came victorious with the result 1-4 overturning the game in the last 10 minutes of the match. Deportivo are out of the relegation zone, with 5 points ahead of the 15th-placed Levante, after battling to escape the bottom of the table during the first half of the season. Real Madrid sit comfortably in second place with 17 points ahead of the third-placed Atlético Madrid.

Linda Caicedo is back in the squad after being unavailable for the past three games due to overload. Irune Dorado is also back on the first team list after being away with the Spanish national team in the past week. Caroline Weir and Melanie Leupolz are the new absences following the midweek El Clásico in which they played 45 minutes each. It is rumored that they’re out for precaution and they will be ready for the Champions League game against Arsenal.

Kickoff is on Saturday, March 15th, at 12:00 CET on Alfredo Di Stefano. Broadcast is vailable for free on the DAZN platform.
