LeBron James remains out of the Los Angeles Lakers lineup as he recovers from a groin injury suffered earlier this week. As reported by NBA insider, Chris Haynes, James traveled to Sacramento, California to attend his youngest son, Bryce James', high school state championship game.
James' team, Sierra Canyon, battled Lincoln High of Stockton for the CIF Division I California state basketball championship. The game was played inside Golden 1 Center, the home of the Sacramento Kings, and James and his wife Savannah were seen sitting front row for (Bryce) James' final high school game.
With just 17 seconds remaining in the game, Sierra Canyon hit a shot, putting them up five points. (LeBron) James celebrated as if he had just won another NBA title, and (at least) one camera caught James' emotions on full display.

Sierra Canyon would go on to win 58-53, securing the Division I, California state championship. James struggled in this one, finishing with just three points, making just one of nine shots from the field. The victory was Sierra Canyon's fourth state championship in program history.
"This game was all about will and want-to," Sierra Canyon coach Andre Chevalier said following the game.
In what was James' final game of his high school career, he will move on to the University of Arizona next year. James has committed to play for the Wildcats during his college career.
James' older brother, Bronny James, was not in attendance, as he suited up for the Lakers on Friday night against the Denver Nuggets. As for Dad, (LeBron) James remains without a timeline to return to action for the Lakers.
