Kurds living in Austria and their friends are preparing for Newroz, which will be celebrated with the slogan 'Free Leadership and Democratic Society' this year.
Civaka Azad co-chair Ahmet Zirek said that celebrations will be held in the cities of Vienna, Graz, Bregenz, Linz and Innsbruck. He added that the events will be organized by the city councils. Emphasizing the importance of Newroz for the people of Kurdistan and the Middle East, Zirek made the following call: "We invite all our people living in Austria to attend Newroz celebrations and participate strongly. Let's go to the Newroz areas with the spirit of the Modern Kawas against the Modern Dehaks. Let's shout freedom. Let's raise the Fire of Freedom."
