Joan Garcia has been a long-term target for Gunners. They tried to sign him last summer for €25 million. But, Espanyol wanted €30 million which was the release clause of the player to be paid fully. This resulted in the deal ending in failure and Garcia staying at Spain.

Garcia’s release clause may increase with €5 million more if he makes his debut for Spain national team. In contrast, it will be reduced if Espanyol are relegated. As of now, they are on 15th position but have only one point more thant 18th position club.

Omar El Hilali has emerged as new target for the North London club. He is only 21 years old and represents Morocco on national level. He mainly plays as right-back but can also play as centre-back when needed.

El Hilali has played 26 games for Espanyol this season. He has registered 2 assists and showcased his attacking skills too. Arsenal can convince him to join them but may only make move if some of the current players leave in summer.
