Daniel Farke has decided to name Joe Rothwell in an unchanged Leeds United starting line-up to take on Queens Park Rangers at Loftus Road this afternoon.
Rothwell, who was a concern prior to this match amid knee stiffness, begins a second consecutive league game since January, meaning Ilia Gruev remains on the bench. Ao Tanaka begins the match alongside the Bulgarian in midfield.
Following the win over Sheffield United, Farke has made just one change to his subsequent line ups but today is the first time he has named an unchanged team in the time since then.
A clean sheet for Illan Meslier today will see him surpass last season's overall tally of 21. He can be helped towards that by centre-back duo Pascal Struijk and Joe Rodon, who both start once more today.
Jayden Bogle and Junior Firpo continue at full-back, the latter just one assist away from hitting double figures for goal set-ups this season. In attack, Brenden Aaronson, left out of the USA's squad for their upcoming Concacaf Nations League matches, starts as the number 10 for the 36th straight league game running.
On the wings, Manor Solomon and Daniel James will look to trouble the Queens Park Rangers back line. Neither have managed to score or assist in their last two games, though Solomon's cross did lead to the opening own goal in Wednesday's 2-0 win at Millwall.
Joel Piroe leads the line once more, as he looks to build on his goal tally of 15. He has not netted in his last three matches and just once in his past five outings.
Starting XI: Meslier; Bogle, Rodon, Struijk, Firpo; Tanaka, Rothwell; James, Aaronson, Solomon; Piroe.
Subs: Darlow, Byram, Schmidt, Debayo, Gruev, Guilavogui, Ramazani, Gnonto, Joseph.
