West Ham are one of several Premier Leagues weighing up a move for AC Milan midfielder Yunus Musah, according to reports in the Italian media.
The American international has featured prominently since Sergio Conceicao’s appointment as manager back in December but MilanLive.it claim that the Rossoneri may be tempted to sell him if a club tables a bid of around €30m (£25m) this summer.
Musah was bought from Valencia for €20m at the start of last season but he does have previous experience of playing in English football.

The midfielder joined Arsenal’s academy in 2012, spending 7 years with the Gunners, but he did not make his senior debut for the London club before leaving.
West Ham will have competition for the player’s signature
The Hammers are among four Premier League teams who are keeping tabs on Musah’s situation with MilanLive reporting that Aston Villa, Newcastle and Nottingnham Forest are also interested in the 22-year-old.
A lot will depend on which team is prepared to meet Milan’s valuation. It has been suggested that Graham Potter’s side are up against it in terms of the Premier League’s Profit and Sustainability rules so it is unlikely that they will be among the frontrunners.
There are cheaper alternatives to Musah
The Irons are believed to be holding talks with Lille midfielder Angel Gomes. The England international is out of contract in June so, unlike with the Milan star, no transfer fee would be needed.
There is also a chance that the club will reignite their interest in OH Leuven’s Ezechiel Banzuzi who they tried to sign during the January transfer window. It has already been confirmed that the Dutchman will be allowed to leave his current team at the end of the season.
