The IDF said on Saturday that its forces attacked two terrorists who were seen operating a drone that "posed a threat to troops" in northern Gaza. The forces then attacked other terrorists who had collected the drone operating equipment.
Palestinian reports from the Strip claimed at least five people were killed in the IDF strikes, including two journalists, while others were injured. The military denied the reports that journalists were targeted by the forces.

Earlier, the military said that forces opened fire at three terrorists who were approaching troops at Netzarim and were observed planting explosive devices in the ground.
The uptick in fire came as talks to extend the cease-fire and bring about the release of hostages were continuing in Qatar although little progress was announced.
IDF drone strike in South Lebanon
Meanwhile, the Qatari-based Al Jazeera network reported that at least two people were killed in an IDF drone strike on a vehicle traveling in South Lebanon. Earlier, Saudi media reported that U.S. President Donald Trump was losing patience over the lack of progress in the talks between Israel and Lebanon to agree on a land-border between the two countries.
According to the report, Trump said that if no progress was made, he would allow the IDF to operate across the border.
