The Oklahoma City Thunder remains one of the top teams in the NBA as the regular season finale is less than a month away.
They hold a 54-12 record through 66 contests played, which leaves them second in the league behind the Cleveland Cavaliers, who boast a 55-10 record.
For a team that has been riddled with injuries throughout the season, they've been able to maintain a solid record and pace throughout the 82-game schedule.
Chet Holmgren missed an extended period of time with a rare hip injury. Alex Caruso missed a few stints of play with hip injuries. Isaiah Hartenstein has had two different injuries.
Most recently, Jalen Williams -- who was a first-time All-Star this season -- suffered an injury. While the rest of the squad is healthy, Williams is still in Oklahoma City getting back to full health while the club remains on the road.
The Thunder are set to take on the Detroit Pistons following an impressive win against the Boston Celtics in the TD Garden.
The Pistons have been an overachiever on the season, leaping from being a league-worst team last season to a playoff team this year.

Thunder makes roster decision before Pistons game
Ahead of the Thunder's battle in Detroit, the team recalled Dillon Jones from their G League-affiliated Oklahoma City Blue.
"The Oklahoma City Thunder has recalled forward Dillon Jones from the Oklahoma City Blue of the NBA G League," Thunder PR announced.
Oklahoma City, as mentioned, is atop the Western Conference with quite a cushion. Still, being able to handle teams like the Pistons -- who are no easy feat -- is a great boost prior to the postseason.
Detroit will challenge the Thunder, which should make for quite the entertaining Saturday night matchup.
