Jazz Set An Unfortunate Franchise Record On Friday

This season has been a very rough one for the Utah Jazz.

While no one expected them to be true playoff contenders this year, the Jazz have remained stuck at the bottom of the Western Conference standings and have a 15-52 record right now.

According to KSL Sports, Utah’s loss to the Toronto Raptors on Friday night means they are now tied for the franchise record for the most losses at home in a single season.

This season is a lost cause, but what will happen to the Jazz in the future?

The Jazz have lost eight in a row and don’t show any signs of change before the playoffs begin.

They will have a very long summer to rest, recharge, and make plans for next year.

There are big questions floating around the team but the largest is this: will they pursue any trades and changes in the summer?

The Jazz have been quietly accumulating a ton of draft picks over the last several years, especially with their high-profile trades with Rudy Gobert and Donovan Mitchell.

On top of that, they have several promising young stars on their roster and all of them could fetch them a lot on the trade market.

Although some fans want them to naturally get better with the roster they have now, others want the front office to trade away some talent and draft picks in order to get better.

It is hard to predict what the Jazz will do but there is a chance they get busy in the summer and shake things up.

If not, we may see them set more records like this next season.
