Fight Breaks Out Between Lakers, Nuggets Fans As Rivalry Grows

During the Los Angeles Lakers and Denver Nuggets game, some fans of the two teams got into a fight. A fight broke out and punches were thrown as the rivalry between the two sides has now grown into something new.

From the video, you can't fully tell who threw the first punch but a Nuggets fan is seen taking a swing. Other fans are seen trying to intervene before the altercation eventually breaks up.

But the fanbases have been at each other's throats on social media and it has now turned into physical fighting. This type of behavior has no place within sports and Ball Arena will likely be investigating what happened.

Los Angeles and Denver have met in the postseason two straight years, with the Nuggets winning each series. The Nuggets have recently owned the Lakers, with Los Angeles only winning a few games during this stretch of time.

The Nuggets culminated their recent success by winning a title during the 2023 season, taking down the Lakers on the way. Denver swept Los Angeles in the Western Conference Finals, getting revenge for the 2020 Conference Finals matchup.

The two sides then met again in the first round of the playoffs last year, with Denver winning the series in five games. The Lakers put up more of a fight this time around, but in the end, Denver was too strong for Los Angeles.

The meetings between these two teams have been entertaining over the years and it's always a good watch. Now with star guard Luka Doncic in the mix, many expect things to be a little different between the two teams.

Los Angeles showed that in a recent game against the Nuggets, blowing them out on their home floor. Even this game yesterday was very close, despite the Lakers missing the majority of their core players.

The two teams could meet again in the postseason this year and it would likely be one of the better playoff series. Many NBA fans are hoping that it happens and hopefully, there will be no fighting between fans if it does.
