Arsenal have reportedly made contact with Nico Williams' representatives over a potential transfer in what could be one of the coups of the summer.
The Gunners are looking to bolster their attacking ranks ahead of next season, having seen a shortage of forwards derail their title charge this term.
And according to Bild, Mikel Arteta has singled out Athletic Bilbao bright spark Williams as a top target for his side.
The 22-year-old stamped his mark as one of the most promising wingers in football after starring at Euro 2024 with tournament winners Spain, forming a formidable wing partnership with Lamine Yamal.
Arsenal have now reached out to the player's camp, opening dialogue in regard to future switch.
But despite his high stock, it's claimed Arsenal could secure his signature for something of a bargain fee.

Williams has a release clause in his contract with Bilbao which is understood to sit somewhere £48million and £67m.
Securing one of the highest-rated forwards on the continent for less than £50m would undoubtedly be hailed as a top piece of business from the Arsenal hierarchy - but they'll face stiff competition in their pursuit of his services.
Bild add that Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich are also chasing the starlet, joining Chelsea and Liverpool who have previously been reported as keen.
While still possessing immense potential, Williams hasn't quite continued his spellbinding form from the Euros last summer, having only notched four league goals in 23 appearances this term.
That said, the homegrown star has also notched five assists for La Rioja, turning creator more often.
He penned his most recent contract in the Basque in late 2023 but his release clause offers him a way out.
And with Arsenal feeling the brunt of a lack of attacking options - as Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Jesus and Kai Havertz all continue their rehab from injuries - Arteta will surely prioritise adding depth in quality up front in the coming months.
