Manchester City missed a chance to return to the top four of the Premier League after twice giving up the lead in a four-goal draw with Brighton.
The Blues took an early lead when Erling Haaland converted from the spot but the visitors equalised through a Pervis Estupiñán free kick. Omar Marmoush restored the home side's advantage before the break but Brighton again found a leveller when Abdukodir Khusanov nudged past Stefan Ortega in the City goal.

The result leaves City in fifth, a point behind Chelsea who play Arsenal on Sunday. With Newcastle United and Aston Villa not in action this weekend, it was a missed opportunity for Pep Guardiola's side in what is a fraught fight to secure Champions League football next season.
