Fans React To Ja Morant’s Big Performance On Friday

The Memphis Grizzlies took on the best team in the NBA on Friday night.

Unfortunately for them, they didn’t beat the Cleveland Cavaliers, but Ja Morant flexed his muscles in a big way.

Hoop Central praised Morant, who scored 44 points, eight rebounds, and seven assists during the game.

He was great all over the court and shot 17-of-22 from the field.

Following the loss, a lot of people posted their opinions online.

They loved what they saw from Morant, even if he couldn’t secure a win for his squad.

A lot of people called his performance “monstrous” and “crazy.”

Morant bested all other scorers with his 44, but it still wasn’t enough.

Morant has been limited this year because of injuries and has only played in 43 games.

But during that time, he has averaged 22.3 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 7.4 assists, which is a smidge down from last season but still impressive and impactful.

Monstrous game

Although there was a lot of praise for Morant, most people commented on the fact that the Grizzlies still lost.

Some people embellished and said they lost by 20 (they actually lost by nine) but it was still disappointing to see Morant play so well and not earn a victory.

And still losing by 20

The Grizzlies are the fourth seed in the West and have a 42-25 record.

There have been reports of them resting Morant a lot so he is in good shape for the upcoming playoffs.

If he is healthy and playing like this during the postseason, the Grizzlies might surprise a lot of people and go far.

He may not have won on Friday, but Morant sent a stark reminder to the rest of the league.
