A new wave of protests has swept across Iran, intensifying calls for economic justice, water rights, improved working conditions, and political change. Demonstrations have erupted nationwide, reflecting widespread frustration with the clerical regime’s handling of longstanding economic hardships, environmental crises, and oppressive social policies.

On March 15, workers from Mina Glass Factory, affiliated with the regime-controlled Mostazafan Foundation, protested simultaneously in Tehran and Qazvin, central and northwest Iran. They demanded basic labor rights and fair wages. On the same day in Shiraz, southern Iran, members of the Qashqai tribe demonstrated against the confiscation of their traditional attire, emphasizing the regime’s infringement on cultural rights. The incident soon escalated into clashes between Qashqai tribe protesters and regime security forces in front of the governorate, reflecting growing tensions over cultural suppression.

In Varamin, Tehran Province, also on March 15, PMOI Resistance Units directly challenged regime President Masoud Pezeshkian, demanding his resignation and chanting: “Resign and Leave, Varamin is Not Your Place.” This protest highlighted growing dissatisfaction with the regime’s political leadership.

The same day, radiology personnel in Golestan province held a demonstration demanding improved working conditions, highlighting widespread dissatisfaction among medical professionals.

Protests escalated on March 14 in Isfahan, central Iran, where farmers from both the eastern and western regions demonstrated to secure essential water resources from the drying Zayandeh Rud River. Farmers gathered with their tractors, emphasizing the devastating impact of the water crisis on their livelihoods. Concurrently, PMOI Resistance Units in Zahedan, southeast Iran, conducted actions explicitly rejecting both the Shah’s and the current regime’s authoritarian rule, renewing their commitment to democratic governance.

Across the nation, families and friends commemorated fallen protesters on March 14, honoring their memories in cities including Tehran, Robat Karim, Tabriz, Sanandaj, Abdanan, Shiraz, Kermanshah, Amol, Pakdasht, Kerman, Karaj, and more. These memorial gatherings reinforced collective calls for justice and underscored continuing public dissent against regime oppression.

On March 13, protests occurred in Baghmalek, southwest Iran, where healthcare workers rallied for better working and living conditions. In Ahvaz, shareholders of the Iran National Steel Industrial Group protested outside the National Bank, demanding accountability for alleged managerial corruption. Protests also took place in East Isfahan, Qazvin, and Kermanshah, highlighting issues such as housing affordability, employment stability, and resource allocation.

Additionally, on March 13, operators from the regional electricity company in western Kermanshah protested, calling attention to unstable employment conditions and unfair labor practices.

The broad geographic spread and persistence of these protests underscore the regime’s increasing inability to address deep-rooted economic grievances and social injustices, contributing to a volatile situation that threatens to intensify further.
