Everton have secured a behind-the-scenes hire for their leadership team after he spent over two decades at Chelsea.

The two-time Champions League winners are one of the richest clubs in the world and have undergone an overhaul after the new ownership.

Much like Chelsea, the Toffees also have new owners, with The Friedkin Group taking charge in December.

Dan Friedkin is the Everton owner.

Simon Hunter is the new Chief Stadium Commercial Officer at Everton

The Toffees announced on their website on 15 March that they have added to their leadership team.

They confirmed that two new appointments had been made as the club are set to move into a new stadium for next season.

One of them is Simon Hunter, who spent over two decades at two-time Champions League winners Chelsea.

There, he worked roles like Head of Hospitality, Head of Venue and Brand, Director of Venue and Hospitality, among others.

Along with him, Aaron Duckmanton has joined as the Chief Marketing and Digital Officer.
