During the Houston Rockets vs Dallas Mavericks game last night Rockets sideline reporter Vanessa Richardson reported some good news on Amen Thompson.
"I spoke to coach Ime Udoka just a few minutes before the game about Amen Thompson. Good news as he was able to do some spot shooting with lead assistant coach Ben Sullivan after shoot around today. He also said Amen has been running on the ultra-G treadmill which is the nonweight barrier treadmill".
"Ime told me Amen is getting round-the-clock treatment during pregame and postgame. He is getting ice and steam and any and everything to push the swelling out. He said he is going home with compression sleeves that's also pushing the swelling out and it's working as Amen currently has no limp and a lot of the swelling is gone which is good news," said Richardson.

Thompson was reported to be out for the next 10-14 days because of a left ankle sprained. He suffered the injury against the New Orleans Pelicans when he fell after attempting to make a shot with 6 minutes left in the blowout win. Thompson is averaging a career-high in points with 16.4ppg.
He has also brought good defense as he has held opponents to 39% shooting while playing defense. The Rockets will need Thompson's strong defense and energy when the playoffs start.
