Arsenal could now sign two La Liga stars for less than£30m, they play for the same club

Arsenal are planning for a busy summer transfer window with several incomings.

The club are expected to prioritise a marquee striker and a defensive midfielder, but they could also recruit a back-up goalkeeper ahead of next season.

Neto was signed on a year-long loan from Bournemouth last summer, but it is clear that Arsenal are keen on landing long-term target Joan Garcia from Espanyol.

The Spaniard’s release clause will stand at €25 million (£21m) at the start of July but reports have claimed that Espanyol could accept less for an early summer deal.

Arsenal had an offer worth €20m (£17m) turned down by the La Liga outfit last summer. A [similar package could be sufficient](https://as.com/futbol/primera/joan-garcia-el-cristiano-o-messi-del-espanyol-llama-a-la-seleccion-n/) to bring Garcia to the club.

Garcia would be a fabulous signing for the Gunners. The 23-year-old has terrific reflexes like David Raya. He has made 3.7 saves per game with a success rate of 72 percent.

He has also caught the eye with his long-ball distribution, ball recoveries and ability to clear his lines. The Olympic Gold medalist would be a fine deputy for Raya next term.

Alongside Garcia, Arsenal could end up signing his teammate Omar El Hilali, who is primarily a right-back. The defender has a release clause worth £12.5m in his deal, as per [The Sun](https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/33856163/why-arteta-walk-off-interview-arsenal-man-utd-transfers/).

The Moroccan ace can also operate as a left-back or in central defence. He is a strong one-on-one defender and has won almost six duels and four tackles per game this term.

He has also excelled with his ball recoveries and interceptions. With his low buy-out clause, manager Mikel Arteta could see him as an option to add more depth to the backline.

Arsenal could sign El Hilali and Garcia for £12.5m and £17m respectively this summer.
