FRISCO - The Dallas Cowboys continue to collect non-Tier 1 veterans for their roster via free agency, on Saturday adding to this class with a move at the wide receiver position.
The Cowboys agreeing to terms with former Philadelphia Eagles wideout Parris Campbell.
Campbell, 27, is coming off having earned a ring as a Super Bowl LIX championship with the Philadelphia Eagles. Last season, though, he was not a statistical influence in Philly as he played in five games and caught six passes for 30 yards and a touchdown.
By joining the Cowboys, the much-traveled Campbell will be playing for his fourth team in the last four seasons ... and for his third team from the NFC East.
Campell spent the 2023 season with the New York Giants before moving to Philadelphia in 2024.
Campbell's career start came with the Indianapolis Colts, who selected him in the second round with the 59th overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft.
A product of Ohio State, in his four years with the Colts, he produced 97 catches for 983 yards and five touchdowns.
So ... add him to the "in the black'' total of Dallas acquisitions in the last week via free agency or trade.

Major losses, of course, include DeMarcus Lawrence, Jourdan Lewis and Rico Dowdle. But overall on the Scorecard? Maybe this isn't "selectively aggressive'' enough, but ...
The Cowboys are in the black in roster-building . ... something that could not be said a year ago.
That doesn't mean that Campbell suddenly fills the need for a No. 2 receiver alongside CeeDee Lamb, though, so ... stay tuned.
