The Golden State Warriors are hosting the New York Knicks as the two massive market teams are set for an entertaining matchup.
The Warriors have been soaring since adding Jimmy Butler at the trade deadline, and they are currently riding a six-game winning streak.
Looking to extend their streak, Golden State is 38-28 through 66 games played this season, as the regular season has less than a month remaining.
The Knicks, on the other hand, have a 42-23 record through 65 showings, though the two teams are arguably in the same tier in terms of being able to contend for an NBA title this season.
Golden State's addition of Butler has made the world's difference, with Stephen Curry's play elevating to an MVP level, with the rest of the squad following suit.
Having recently turned 37-years-old, it's clear Curry is still playing at a high level while acknowledging that the end of his illustrious career is in sight.
Prior to the Warriors' matchup against the Knicks, former NBA champion Kendrick Perkins had quite a Curry admission on ESPN's NBA Countdown.

Perkins makes strong Steph Curry take
As Curry recently reached 4,000 made career 3-pointers while having a 50- and 40-point performance since Butler's arrival, Perkins acknowledged what many have already said: Curry is the best point guard in NBA history.

Perkins explained that Curry changing basketball forever was a leading reason behind his strong take.
Evidently, four NBA titles, two MVP trophies and a Finals MVP trophy while changing the entire sport across the world isn't all that bad of a resume.
While some may be quick to jump on the train, Curry has a remarkable resume worthy of being considered the best point guard in league history.
