Aaron Rodgers can't seem to make up his mind.
What else is new?
The former starting quarterback of the New York Jets - the man who went on a darkness retreat and came out driven to play football away from the Green Bay Packers - is back where he started two years ago.
Unclear where he wants to play football for the 2025 season.
New York released Rodgers this offseason after a two-year run with the team failed to produce a winning season - let alone a playoff appearance. Rodgers won just five games as the team's starting quarterback in 2024 which resulted in the organization cleaning house in both coaching and front office staff.
But while three teams in the Minnesota Vikings, Pittsburgh Steelers, and New York Giants are all seemingly interested in the former league MVP, Rodgers remains relatively patient in his approach.
A big reason why? The team he wants to join (the Vikings) appears reluctant to go after the 41-year-old.
"Rodgers has been targeted by the Steelers and Giants but has essentially put both teams on hold while he waits for clarity on the Vikings' situation," The Athletic's Dianna Russini said.
Russini and Mike Silver later reported that Rodgers' decision could be completely different if the Vikings end up moving past his services as well.

"If Minnesota ceases to be an option," they wrote, "it's also possible that Rodgers will turn down both the Steelers (a 2024 playoff team) and Giants and instead opt for retirement."
Wait. What? In one of the weirdest twists yet … Rodgers is keeping teams waiting … maybe for nothing?
Rodgers is holding teams hostage as he waits for another team to decide if they want him or not. A quarterback who won just five games in a starting role last season has shown a reluctance to see what others have.
And the Jets have to be thanking themselves they are gone from this headache at this point.
