Warriors Make Massive Steve Kerr Announcement After Beating Knicks

The Golden State Warriors have been a yearly contender nearly every year under head coach Steve Kerr. After a slow start to this season, the Warriors have been rolling lately.

On Saturday night, Golden State was able to pull off a hard-fought win over the New York Knicks by a final score of 97-94.

With the win, Kerr made massive franchise history with the Warriors. He became the all-time winningest regular season coach in Golden State history and passed Alvin Attles for the record.

Quickly after the game, the team sent out a post on X announcing the record that Kerr now holds with the Warriors.

"Our coach, the winningest coach," the post read. "With tonight's victory, Steve Kerr has passed Mr. Warrior himself, Alvin Attles, for the most regular-season wins by a coach in franchise history!"

Kerr deserves all of the recognition he is receiving. He has truly helped Golden State become a dynasty that will never be forgotten.

While the recognition is nice, Kerr will be more focused on the next game. The Warriors will face off against the Denver Nuggets at home on Monday night.
