Chelsea have already decided next two transfers after hijacking Man Utd for Geovany Quenda

Chelsea appear to have settled on their next two summer transfers, having already reportedly reached an agreement with Sporting to acquire the services of Geovany Quenda.

The versatile winger was heavily linked with a move to Manchester United to reunite with Ruben Amorim, but the Blues worked in the shadows to strike a £40million deal for the teenager which will see him loaned back to Sporting next season.

Chelsea have made it no secret that they will look to rebuild their attacking ranks over the coming windows, with Mykhaylo Mudryk, Noni Madueke and Jadon Sancho all facing uncertain futures at Stamford Bridge.

As a result, Enzo Maresca’s side are reportedly already plotting another attacking swoop. According to The Athletic, Chelsea are looking to bring in a right-footed wide player who would be immediately integrated into their squad.

The Blues are already set to welcome exciting prospect Estevao to their squad, though he is viewed as a right-winger and therefore Quenda’s long-term future may lie on the left to facilitate the Brazilian.

Athletic Bilbao’s Nico Williams, Brighton star Kaoru Mitoma and Borussia Dortmund talent Jamie Gittens are among a host of names who have been linked with a move to Chelsea and fit the bill of being right-footed.

However, it appears that the Blues are still identifying their options in that department, with Maresca hopeful of kickstarting the 2025/26 campaign with five wingers available to allow for injuries and rotation.

In contrast, the Blues seem to have settled on their top target in midfield. Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano claims that Chelsea have reached an agreement with Sporting to sign Dario Essugo, with a medical already completed. The Portuguese will receive £18.5million to part ways with the 20-year-old as he continues to shine out on loan with Las Palmas.

The Blues looked at signing Essugo in the January transfer window but instead opted to bring in Mathis Amougou from St Ettienne, who has played seven minutes of Premier League football since arriving in England. The midfielder is expected to be loaned to Chelsea's sister club Strasbourg next season to continue his development.

Essugo, meanwhile, will be considered part of the first team when he joins up with the squad this summer. He will pen a seven-year contract.
