The SpaceX Crew-10 mission launched to the International Space Station (ISS) on Saturday, March 15. Just more than a day after the take off, the crew in the SpaceX Dragon spacecraft has successfully arrived as the replacements of the Expedition 72 crew of NASA’s stuck astronauts Sunita “Suni” Williams, Butch Wilmore, Nick Hague, Don Petitt and Aleksandr Gorbunov, Alexey Ovchinin, and Ivan Vagner.
The four newcomers, representing the US, Japan and Russia, will spend the next few days learning everything about the station. Strapping into their own SpaceX capsule they will relieve, Wilmore and Williams, who initially embarked on Boeing’s first astronaut flight. The “brief one-week mission” last June turned into a rather unexpectedly long duration as they are set to return later this week after a nine-month stay in space.
Live @NASA+ coverage is now scheduled for 10:25pm ET today as four @SpaceX #Crew10 members approach the space station aboard the Dragon spacecraft for a docking at 12:07am Sunday. Watch here… https://t.co/of6YqgRwoz pic.twitter.com/tCG9naWfhA

NASA posted on their official X account as Crew-10 lifted off on March 15, “Have a great time in space, y’all!” wishing them luck for their mission. Astronauts, Anne McClain and Nichole Ayers from NASA, Takuya Onishi from JAXA and Kirill Peskov from Roscosmos are part of the crew. Having successfully docked at ISS, the world eagerly waits for Willaim’s and Wilmore’s return journey which is expected to be on Wednesday.
This is a developing story. More details to follow.
