On course to reach Premier League safety, the Toffees have the luxury of looking towards the summer transfer window in pursuit of the targets Moyes need if he is to take the Merseyside club back into the top half and beyond.
On that front, several names have already threatened to steal the headlines, including Tammy Abraham. The AS Roma forward has endured a mixed spell on loan at AC Milan and could now be on his way back to the Premier League for the first time since leaving Chelsea.

A forward with plenty of experience, the Englishman could be among the candidates to replace Calvert-Lewin, who is set to depart as a free agent when his contract expires this summer.
Leaving the Toffees short in attack, Friedkin's first order of business should be set on reinforcing their attack, which could yet see a rising star arrive alongside Abraham.
According to Caught Offside, Everton now want to win the race to sign Semih Kilicsoy, who is valued at a maximum of €20m (£17m) by Besiktas this summer, a figure some outlets have suggested could be even lower. In what would be a bargain deal for a 19-year-old on the rise, the Toffees would be sharpening their frontline for years to come.

The Besiktas winger has enjoyed another impressive season in Turkey, scoring six goals and assisting another four in all competitions to follow up a debut campaign to remember for the season side which featured 15 goal involvements.
In comparison, Calvert-Lewin has managed just three goals throughout another campaign centred around his injury struggles and Everton continue to cope without him, the exit door is likely to swing open with a fair amount of willingness.
Just how the Toffees line up in attack at the start of next season remains to be seen, but Kilicsoy is certainly a target they will not want to miss out on. Praised for a "fantastic" season last year by football talent scout Jacek Kulig, the 19-year-old is one of Europe's emerging talents and looks destined for the Premier League with or without a move to the Toffees.
