Manchester United have the chance to go seven games unbeaten across all competitions when they take on Leicester City in the Premier League later today.

A Bruno Fernandes hat-trick helped United secure their spot in the Europa League quarter-finals in midweek, with Ruben Amorim's side beating Real Sociedad 5-2 on aggregate to set up a clash with Lyon in the next round. Attention turns back to the Premier League today with United taking on relegation-threatened Leicester City in their final game before the March international break.

Managed by Ruud van Nistelrooy, Leicester have struggled in recent weeks, losing their last five Premier League games without scoring a goal. United have already played the Foxes three times this season, winning 3-0 in the Premier League, 5-2 in the Carabao Cup, and 2-1 in the FA Cup.

So, how could United make it four wins from four against Leicester later today? Let's take a look...

Leicester vs Man United score predicted

To complete this simulation, we used EA FC 25 and updated the squads with the latest injuries and suspensions.

We predict that the Foxes could line up in a 3-4-2-1 formation, with their starting XI as follows: Hermansen; Faes, Coady, Thomas; Justin, Ndidi, Soumare, Kristiansen; El Khannouss, Daka; Vardy.

We predict that United could set up in a 3-4-2-1 formation, with their line-up as follows: Onana; Lindelof, De Ligt, Heaven; Mazraoui, Casemiro, Fernandes, Dalot; Zirkzee, Garnacho; Hojlund.

United were unable to replicate their second-half showing from midweek in the opening stages against Leicester, with the hosts more than competing in the first 20 minutes. A poor touch from Andre Onana gifted the Foxes a corner 32 minutes in, and Wout Faes' header from the resulting set-piece was turned in at the back post by Conor Coady as Leicester went a goal ahead.

The goal seemed to flip a switch in the United side, with Amorim's men upping the tempo after going behind. Instantly, the visitors were dominating the game, and just before half-time Rasmus Hojlund ended his goalless run to draw United level.

A strong challenge saw Diogo Dalot win back possession on the left wing, with the defender surging forward before picking out Fernandes on the edge of the box. The United captain bounced a first-time pass into the path of Hojlund, and on his left foot, the striker fired a powerful strike into the top corner to make it 1-1 at the break.

Six minutes after the restart, Hojlund was involved once again, with the striker getting his body in front of Faes before being pulled down by the defender in the box and winning United a penalty. Fernandes stepped up to take, and the Portuguese international calmly dispatched his spot kick into the bottom left corner as Amorim's side took the lead.

The second goal seemed to take away any confidence Leicester had, with the Foxes struggling to get out of their half as United controlled possession. A pretty uneventful affair played out for the final 30 minutes, with Amorim's side holding out for the three points.
