Everton have already announced the hiring of Angus Kinnear from Leeds United and they may be set to strike another blow on the Championship club.
The Englishman will join the Blues on 1 June as the head of a new wider football leadership team under The Friedkin Group.
Kevin Thelwell is set to depart as sporting director at the end of the season as part of the backroom restructure.
The Toffees may be set to hire two other staff members from the Whites as Kinnear puts together his new team at Bramley-Moore Dock.

Everto n set for exciting new era
The summer promises to be a very exciting one for Toffees supporters as the move to the new stadium edges closer.
The Friedkin Group are set to back Moyes in the transfer window to reshape his squad and move away from the relegation battles that have been a theme of late at Goodison Park.
Given that his side are on a nine-match unbeaten run in the Premier League, the Scotsman will be confident that he can take the Blues into the top half, maybe even towards European qualification with the right additions.

Everton players who are set to leave
Kinnear’s new-look team will be a crucial part of the new era, identifying targets alongside Moyes and sorting incoming deals as well as new contracts for those who are out of contract in the summer, or those leaving at the end of their loan deals.
The Blues currently have 13 players set to leave at the end of the campaign and need to sort out who will be a part of the squad ahead of the new season.
That could define what areas they target in the market, so the new incoming backroom staff will have a busy first few weeks in their new roles.
